Stocks or Forex?  This is a choice you will need to make when you have money to invest. As you compare the two, you will notice big differences. Stocks have been around for hundreds of years and forex has only been available to the public for about ten years. Before that time, only the big corporations and banks could trade on this market. 

Stocks are something that represents a physical thing and there is nothing physical about forex trading.  Stocks are sold to fund new projects and expansion of companies and these are long term investments. Forex on the other hand, is a short term market with some deals lasting just twenty-four hours and sometime less than that. Stocks are traded on the stock market which has a physical address and brokers charge a fee for their service.
